What am I paying for?
The browser checker and its supported formatting export are free. The $29 pilot adds file-specific review, an agreed repair, a separate output and readable report, and one revision of the agreed file. If the free tool solves your problem, use it.
Can you fix any supplier spreadsheet?
No. The current pilot supports UTF-8 comma CSVs for new simple products, with one row per product, supported columns and a maximum of 500 rows / 2 MiB. We do not currently accept variants, image rows, inventory, existing-product updates, XLSX or arbitrary supplier-column mapping. We confirm fit before payment.
How quickly will I receive my file?
We agree a specific deadline and timezone with you before payment. This is an assisted review service, not instant automated delivery. We handle one accepted, undelivered job at a time.
Who sees my files?
This website has no catalog upload. An email request opens your own mail app. If you later email a sample, it is shared with the operator and email provider; paid review can include AI-assisted review in the operator’s assistant workspace. Share only authorized product data, and exclude credentials, customer records and payment data. See the service terms for retention and deletion requests.
Who operates Martin DataWorks?
Martin DataWorks is the service brand of Matthew Heffernan. CSV Rescue is its first service, independent of Shopify. Payments use the existing merchant account and may appear as ACID MARTIN on your statement. Your accepted scope identifies the seller, exact work and payment.
What if the work does not meet the agreed scope?
You may cancel before initial delivery for a full refund. For an agreed-scope failure reported within seven calendar days of delivery, you may choose a correction or a full refund of that file’s service fee. Provider processing times apply. Read the full CSV Rescue terms before accepting a job.
